In accordance to the recent guidelines published by SkillsFuture Singapore regarding SkillsFuture Claims, from 19 May 2017, there will no longer be pay-to-individual option for all SkillsFuture Claims. SkillsFuture will now pay the fee directly to the Training Provider (Creative Culinaire). We would like to highlight the following changes to our valued customers:
- There will now be 2 options when selecting the class. Please select the one that is relevant (kindly note that no refunds will be entertained for incorrect selection of options)
- No claim from SkillsFuture (You will pay full fee directly to Creative Culinaire)
- Claiming from SkillsFuture
- You will be required to pay a $100 refundable deposit (*terms and conditions apply) to secure your registration
- This deposit will be refunded in cash on the last day of your lesson
- Should you change, cancel the class or no-show, the deposit will be forfeited

**Please be advised that we require both the deposit and confirmation from SkillsFuture to confirm your registration.
Scenario 1: Should there be no confirmation from SkillsFuture on the first day of your class but you have paid the deposit – Registration is not confirmed . You are required to pay the full fee (less the $100 deposit) to attend the class – SkillsFuture would not entertain any claims after the class has commenced (i.e., you will not be able to claim under SkillsFuture). Should you decide not to attend the class, the deposit will be forfeited.
Scenario 2: Confirmation from SkillsFuture but no deposit paid – Registration is not confirmed. Should the class be full, you would not be able to attend the class. Transfer to the next intake of classes are subjected to availability and in accordance to the terms by SkillsFuture. a $30 admin fee applies.
Steps for SkilsFuture Claim:
- Proceed to select the Deposit option ($100 deposit payable using your credit card). The status of your registration will be “Soft Booked”. You will receive an email confirmation with regards to your soft booking.
- Click on the respective links to the course to submit the claim directly to SkillsFuture (www.skillsfuture.sg/claims)
- Skillsfuture will consolidate all claims and send us a collated list (weekly)
- You will not receive further confirmation from Creative Culinaire (as the approvals from SkillsFuture comes in at different times). As long as you receive the confirmation of your soft booking and a Claim Submission ID from SkillsFuture, your registration is confirmed. Please take note of the Claim Submission ID for reference.
Mr Tan has $500 in his SkillsFuture account. He is interested in attending our 4 Day Art and Science Series: Foundation Cake Baking (Course fee $408) on 12 June 2017. He proceeds to www.creativeculinaire.com to select the course and make the $100 deposit to secure his soft booking. He immediately logs on to the Skillsfuture website http://www.skillsfuture.sg/credit using his SingPass to submit his claim. SkillsFuture will notify Creative Culinaire on the status of the claim (approved or rejected) and the amount to be claimed ($408). No further emails will be sent out (registration is confirmed upon the payment of the deposit and assignment of a Claim Submission ID). Mr Tan will receive a refund for his $100 deposit in cash during the last lesson of his course. SkillsFuture will directly debit the course fee of $408 to Creative Culinaire.
Ms Lee has $200 in her SkillsFuture account. She is interest in attending our 4 Day Art and Science Series: Foundation Bread Making (Course fee $408) on 21 June 2017. She proceeds to www.creativeculinaire.com to select the course and make the $100 deposit to secure her soft booking. She logs on to the Skillsfuture website http://www.skillsfuture.sg/credit using her SingPass to submit his claim a week later. SkillsFuture will notify Creative Culinaire on the status of the claim (approved or rejected) and the amount to be claimed ($200). No further emails will be sent out (registration is confirmed upon the payment of the deposit and assignment of a Claim Submission ID). Ms Lee will not receive a refund for her $100 deposit as it will be used to offset the balance and she will make the balance payment of $108 ($200 from Skills Future + $100 Deposit + $108 top up).

How will my course fee be paid?
SkillsFuture will directly debit the course fee to Creative Culinaire. This is to avoid fraudulent claims.
How early can I make my claim to SkillsFuture?
You will able to make you claims up to 60 days before the course start date. We highly recommend you to submit your claim as soon as you make the deposit payment of $100 to confirm your registration. Registration is only confirmed upon receiving the deposit and approval of claim from SkillsFuture
What is the deposit for?
The purpose of the deposit is make a soft booking for your registration. Registration is only confirmed upon receiving the deposit and approval of claim from SkillsFuture. The deposit will be refunded in Cash on the first day of your course (*terms and conditions apply). Should you cancel the class or no-show, the deposit will be forfeited.
How will Creative Culinaire know if I have sufficient funds in my SkillsFuture account?
SkillsFuture will inform Creative Culinaire the approval of claim with the exact amount that is approved. For example, if you have a balance of $120 in your account, the notification received by Creative Culinaire will reflect your claimable amount will only be $120. You will be required to pay the remainder amount on the first day of the class via Cash/NETS/AMEX. You may choose to use you deposit to offset this amount.
Can I pay the deposit earlier than the 60 days before I make the SkillsFuture claim?
Yes, you may pay the deposit to confirm your soft booking. Confirmed registration will only be done upon receiving the approval from SkillsFuture indicating the funds disbursement.
What if I made the deposit payment, but have forgotten to claim from Skillsfuture?
The last date for claims is the day before the start date of the course. The terms and conditions for SkillsFuture claim requires you to make the claim before the start of the course. SkillsFuture will not entertained claims after the course start date. Should this happen, you will be required to
- pay the balance amount less the deposit paid to Creative Culinaire should you decide to attend the course (now it will not be claimable under SkillsFuture)
- Cancel your registration, which will result in the forfeiture of the $100 deposit paid
What I proceeded with a successful claim from Skillsfuture, but did not make the deposit payment?
All registration is confirmed upon receiving the deposit and approval of claim from SkillsFuture. Should the class be full before we receive both, we regret to inform you that we will not be able to accommodate you in the class.
What if I have insufficient funds in my SkillsFuture Account?
You will be required to pay the remainder amount on the first day of the class via Cash/NETS/AMEX. You may choose to use you deposit to offset this amount.
What if the course fee is more than my balance in my account?
You will be required to make payment for remainder amount on the first day of the class via Cash/NETS/AMEX. You may choose to use you deposit to offset this amount.

Can Creative Culinaire claim on my behalf?
Training Providers are not allowed to claim on behalf of individuals as this infringes the guidelines set forth by SkillsFuture and is a reportable incident. Students who have difficulties could come down to our outlet (as we are unable to do this over the phone – again due to privacy and security concerns) and we will do a walkthrough of the claims process. This is due to privacy and security concerns as the claims process requires your Singpass and 2FA verification (mobile phone).
